In order to effectively contribute to the attainment of the above goal, LVRLAC will pursue its five major objectives namely;
- To ensure sustainable utilization of Lake Victoria resource and its ecosystem.
- To strengthen governance systems and structures in LVRLAC secretariats and her member Local Authorities
- To promote increased access to social services among the communities in the Lake Victoria region
- To Promote and coordinate gender, youth and children development programs in LVRLAC member local authorities
- To maximize production and enhance local economic development in LVRLAC member Local Authorities Lake Victoria Region and its significance.
