Message from the Chairperson: LVRLAC – Kenya Chapter

I would wish to compliment all the chapters and the communities around Lake Victoria basin that form the main pillar of LVRLAC
for the endless enthusiasm towards the association’s activities.
The vision of LVRLAC has been so loud in order to sustain good use of the lake and the basin. Other than the above two objectives,
the LVRLAC has endeavored to develop several other projects aligned to improved lives of the vulnerable around the Lake Victoria basin! We as a Kenyan chapter appreciate the Association for the effort. It’s my sincere gratitude that the association is meeting all its
programmed activities as it opens new windows still for the greater people of the lake region.
We are appealing for more partners to join the association in order to jointly handle environmental challenges bedeviling our communities and ultimately meet the vision of the association.
I would wish to tell the delegates that the fruits of LVRLAC have been so enormous and ask all of us to be part of it. I now wish to welcome all of you to Kisumu (Kenyan Chapter), feel at home brothers and sisters as you enjoy the hospitality of Kisumu, our beautiful city as we all gear towards the AGA 2019/ 2020.

Thank you.
Richard Ogindo
