Welcome to Lake Victoria Region Local Authorities Cooperation

LVRLAC’s strategic goal for the period 2018-2023 is to have an improved environmental status and social economic wellbeing of the riparian communities in the Lake Victoria region.

LVRLAC was founded in 1997 by major Cities and Municipalities within Lake Vitoria sub-region, with an overall objective of mobilizing and facilitating member local Authorities in Lake Victoria basin and its catchment area to work towards a coordinated and sustained utilization of this water resource
